This Sunday is the First Sunday of Lent.

This year, William, our seminarian from Verbum Dei will lead Stations of the Cross in English on Fridays at 8:00 PM. The new curfew hour is 11:00 PM. I will lead the Stations of the Cross in Spanish at 6:30 PM. The prayer will take place in the well ventilated big church.

This Sunday, Fr. Ron will preside and preach.

Please include Judy from the choir in your prayers, she had a stent put in her artery and we pray that she recovers soon.

We accept food donation all Sundays during Lent with much appreciation. Please bring up your offerings to the altar during offertory time.

Lunching with a friend in a fast-food restaurant, I was telling her about a teenager who had rear-ended my car. The teen blamed me for the accident.

“She even called me every dirty name in the book!” I said.

Just then I looked over to the next table where two nine-year-old boys had apparently been paying close attention to my story.

One said to the other, “Wow! There’s a book?!”
