Hello again,
This Sunday we will celebrate our monthly Children’s Mass, sponsored by level 7, Cindy’s and Ainhoa’s class. We look forward to beginning the month with joy!
Also, we will celebrate the Rite of Election for the candidates for the sacraments of initiation this Easter. We want to introduce the candidates to the parish and ask for your support and prayers as they journey towards full initiation in the Catholic Church.
Please pray for seminarian William who has traveled to Cameron to help his family after his father’s stroke. May God strengthen William’s father and entire family.
Congratulations to Siboney, who recently gave birth to a baby boy: Harold George. Also, Emily Gill had a baby girl, Kelly, on October 2nd.
Please make sure to purchase a participation in our Christmas lottery. All proceeds go to Caritas. And you have a chance to win big!
People are asking about the Christmas schedule already, so here it is:
December 24th, Christmas High Mass! This is our main event:
We start at 5:30 PM with Christmas Carols lead by the combined choirs of Our Lady of Mercy and San Dámaso.
The bilingual Christmas Mass begins at 6:30 PM and lasts one hour.
The children will do a dramatic presentation of the Gospel (The Annual Children’s Christmas Pageant).
On December 25th, we celebrate a calmer more meditative Mass at 11:00 AM, all in English.
News on a penance service date to come soon.
See you on Sunday!
Reasonable Fee
A man phones a lawyer and asks, “How much would you charge for just answering three simple questions?”
The lawyer replies, “A thousand dollars.”
“A thousand dollars!” exclaims the man. “That’s very expensive, isn’t it?”
“It certainly is,” says the lawyer. “Now, what’s your third question?”
