Here’s the latest:
Last Sunday our attendance went down to 161 people, probably due to the new restrictions. We have legal capacity for up to 288 people. It was a beautiful Mass and we congratulate Dhruve and Darshita once again on making their First Communion.
We remind you that the forms for registration, Mass Intentions, and bank transfers have been placed on a bookcase in the back of the church.
We had a 3 hour parish council meeting last night! Please know that your council is working hard on making sure the parish can function well and safely during these challenging times. Alex is working to help us be well connected online so as to ensure the religious formation of our young parishioners.
Thank you to everyone for making bank transfers and supporting us financially. Our collections are low but we are surviving thanks to your bank transfers.
Also, remember that from now on, instead of silence, we will sing for the Sign of Peace just a few lines from “This Is Our Cry”. We´d only sing once:
This is our cry
This is our cry
Peace in the world
Peace in the World
———————————————————-
I wish us all peace! We need it so!
Strangest Dream
“I had the strangest dream last night,” a man was telling his psychiatrist.
“I saw my mother, but when she turned around to look at me, I noticed that she had your face. You can imagine, I found this very disturbing, and in fact I woke up immediately, and couldn’t get back to sleep. I just lay there in bed waiting for morning to come, and then I got up, drank a Coke, and came right over here for my appointment. I thought you could help me explain the meaning of this strange dream.”
The psychiatrist was silent for a full minute before responding:
“A Coke? You call that a breakfast?!”
